EVOLVE MONUMENTS
I HAVE READ OTHERS PROFILS BUT ITS NOT SINKING IN. I WANT TO EVOLOVE MY MONUMENTS. WHEN I GO TO EVOLVE IT SHOWS MY HIGHEST TIER BUILDINGS. I DO NOT HAVE MANY OF THEM. DO I WANT TO SWAP THESE BUILDINGS IN ORDER UP EVOLVE MY MONUMENTS? IS IT WORTH IT? SWAP MY WILLIES AND GRAND HOTELS FOR THE UPGRADE???? HELP PLEASE!!!!!

For higher level monuments, you do have to use higher tier buildings to evolve them. The monument will still pay out the same amount of coins as all of the buildings you had, and your City will still have the same value for your Treasure Box rewards if you use your higher tier buildings to evolve. The purpose of monuments is just to merge your buildings into one to free up space in your City and Storage.

Hi Quinn, in short all other buildings don't matter.
You want to get as many of the biggest monument (Level 4 Millennium Crystal) as possible. It's a long struggle but in the end it'll pay you back quite a bit more and worth it.
Just remember, it's not how quick you get to MS70 but it's mainly the friends you make along the way.
The journey itself is the destination. :)

Hi Quinn if you want to hold onto some of your larger tier building but still be able to upgrade monuments, start with building level 1 monuments by purchasing 2 x level 6 buildings at 50 gems or 1,200,000 building bucks each. If you build 10 level 1 monuments you can evolve 1 (using the other 9) to a level 2. Alternatively you can use 4 x tier 8 buildings at 200 gems or 5,000,000 building bucks and 1 x tier 7 building 100 gems or 2,500,000 building bucks to evolve a level 1 to a level 2 monument. To evolve a level 2 monument to a level 3 you will need 3 x tier 13 buildings and 1 level 2 monument to evolve. Alternatively you can just keep making tier 2 monuments and use them to convert to a level 3 same as above. To evolve a monument to level 4 Millennium Crystal you will need 8 level 3 monuments - 1 to evolve and the other 7 to use to evolve. Seems daunting I know, but just start with making some level 1 monuments and evolving them to level 2s and you will get there. As Night Guy says it will be worth it in the end. Hope this helps. Kat

NG, I may hold a different opinion. Samantha and Dougaroo both have told us that monuments do not change the value of our cities nor the city's payouts. And here, once again, Samantha tells us that monument values equal the total value of buildings used to create/evolve them. If you have contrary information I would love to hear that.
QUINN 001, buying and collecting high tier buildings is the only way to increase your city's value and bring higher returns to you. Much higher returns. Monuments are a personal choice for those who wish to clear the clutter of low tier buildings and to redesign our cities for more attractive viewing as we may wish. We've been told this multiple times.

k9 absolutely I understand where you are coming from. A lot are skeptical about the monuments. Really they are no different than any other buildings. They are just higher tier.
Just like before when Tier 11 buildings are the biggest buildings you can buy, that's what everyone gets. The prizes from the T11 (after Honeymoon period) are on average bigger than the lower tier buildings.
The same applies for the T12, T13, T14, T15, T16, T17, T18, T19, T20, T21, T22 (Level 4 millennium crystal monument).
Just take at look at the city leadership board. The ones that stay up in the top 10 productive city (excluding the members that got the crown prize buildings which temporarily pushed them up many ranks for the next 3-4 days) are full of Millennium Crystals.
You can get 85 gems or 85 passes every 6 hours from the Millennium crystal monument, if you wait longer than 6 hours, the gem/passes can go pass 1000 party passes or 500 gems each Millennium crystal.
Every 6 hours when I collect my prizes, I get at least 1000 party passes from all the millennium crystals. Gems are fewer but when I see gem prizes they are significantly higher than any other buildings post honeymoon period. If the prize is charm, I get holiday wine or golden playing card.
The building green prizes are random as per CW, but if you only have millennium crystals with as few other buildings as possible, you chance of getting green prizes from the millennium crystals are much higher.

just some additional things to think about -
Would you rather have lots of small charms from lots of low tier buildings or larger charms from high tier buildings that is equivalent to all the small charms?

This took me about 1 month to save up all these, all the golden playing cards and holiday wine are from the millennium crystal. I have used a lot of them up already.

Here's a thing I've long wondered about.
3000 gems will buy me one tier 13 building or 30 tier 7 buildings. Will that single tier 13 payoff better than those 30 tier 7s? No one knows but I kinda suspect they payoff the same. Wish I knew and, yes, I know one tier 13 pays way better than one tier 7.

Pretty sure the total value of the payout is the same but it's quality instead of quantity. Instead of a bunch of low level charms and small amounts of coins/passes/charms it pays out higher level charms and higher amounts per building.
Basically you can look at it as change for a $20, the high tier buildings will give you dollar bills, the lower tier buildings will give you dimes/nickels/quarters. It still adds up to $20 but I'd rather have the good charms.

You should always want to get the coins out of your charms as soon as possible. In other words, in as few spins as possible for whatever game you are playing. Some games have inherent advantages over others, mostly related to the maximum bet allowed per spin or how those charms work within a given game.
So, at least two situations occur for smaller charms, (1) payout cap per spin and (2) low coin total per charm. You have 4 payout slots in which to place your charms, smaller charms usually have a lower payout cap per spin, e. g. 250K on a 500K bet in the slots, that limits the total amount per spin for those charms. The 2nd situation is where the charm is small and you eliminate a charm slot, or up to 4, in one spin, again a situation with limited payout per spin.
Given a choice, I will always chose fewer larger buildings (biggest monuments) over many more smaller buildings of equivalent coinage. Party passes and gems are also much better for the largest monuments, in my honest opinion, as I never got too many of either with approximately 2,000 Tier 10/11 buildings under the old system (before there were monuments).
I am pretty high up in city payout per day, mainly because I do a so-called city cleanout/cleanup every 6 hours, or try to do so. But, I have not done much in the way of new buildings since before the city ranking system began. I am going mostly on city inertia right now adding only buildings as gems payout from my city and TB.

in my city i get at the same only 1 or 2 gems veryy few party passes i do get a ton of charms lucky 7 green jar i have been writting it down time and date so far it has remained the same i kknow it will turn around some day

Hi Folks
I have not seen it mention in any threads I have read. When building your millennium crystal from small buildings you can buy two buildings at a time by double clicking the green pay button for the building. Work twice a fast. Hope this helps.

Gold is every so often I did like 15 this week and only got one gold.. I want my city all gold as they look nicer then blue to me

Regarding Gene's comment. If your connection is lagging a bit you can click the buy button multiple times before the server replies and get multiple buildings all at once (still costs all the gems). Most times you still just get one click in but sometimes it works, I can make my finger shake really fast and managed to get 12 once.

When you first build the level one monuments you will get a yellow one every now and then. Make sure that you don't use those monuments to evolve others, I use buildings to evolve the first 2 levels. Later when you upgrade to the final stage make sure that you evolve the yellow (rare) ones using the blue (regular) ones. The main monument being upgraded will keep it's yellow colour even if you use 7 blue ones to evolve it.0 -
To expand on this a bit (read Night Guy's profile for lots of info).
I use 2x Tier 6 large buildings (eg: Cityview hotel) to create each basic monument. I'll buy 16 of them to create 8 basic monuments. In those 8 I'll almost always get at least 1 rare one, sometimes 2. If you don't get a rare one you can always build more basic ones until you do.
From there I upgrade each of the 8 basic monuments to the next level using 2x Tier 8 large buildings (eg: Penthouse Hotel) and 1x Tier 9 building (eg: Midnight Bowl).
Note: If you had to build extra basic monuments to get a rare one then you can also use the excess basic monuments to do the first evolve, can't remember exactly how many it takes but it should be easy to figure out and you just use less of the Penthouse Hotels.Next I'll upgrade the 8 monuments to the next level using 3x Tier 13 Large buildings (eg: Light Pyramid).
Finally I'll upgrade the rare monument using the other 7 non rare ones and end up with a rare millenium crystal.

Hi, Night Guy. You mentioned in one of your posts above that if you leave your Millennium crystals more than 6 hours before collecting from them, the rewards are significantly higher than at 6 hours. Do you know if this is also true with any of the lower level monuments?

Yes, if you wait the payouts will be larger, but there is a tradeoff. Do you want to collect say three times a day (every 8 hours) or four times a day (every 6 hours) and does your DAILY averaged total increase or decrease? Elsewhere on this website, CW suggests that your city payouts will diminish the longer you wait, meaning that on a daily average basis your city will produce less income the longer you wait to cash out your city. So that 6 hours is the fastest update period and say 8 hours might be close to 6 hours on a daily average basis, but collecting only once or less per day will produce a lot smaller payout (per CW, you will only ever get green boxes for all your buildings and each of these gifts will have maxed out even at just 6 hours (charms like wine/cards are the top level 4 monument payout)) on a daily average basis.
However, the CW site makes it extremely difficult to do proper analytics, for example, with charm coin payouts that do not appear to be completely constant. So that all that I can really say is that, your mileage may vary.

I am building and evolving monuments. I have
6 Radiant Mainframe Crystals
1 Golden Mega
1 Lustrous Fountain
10 Hyper AI
1 Luminous Metro
and two Overclocked Mainframe Crystals.
So 19 of my 21 are gold, rare, monuments. If I go to upgrade them with a rare monument it asks if I am sure.
Is it worth upgrading the rare monuments with other rare monuments, or keep trying for the non-rare ones?0 -
Luck Is ALady The coins/gems (green prize)/passes (green prize) will be higher, that's what I meant. Charm from green prizes will be the same though. It really don't matter as you wouldn't know if you're going to get gems from the green prizes. It is true with all monuments, however only the L4 monument (tier 22?) pays a significant amount of pass/gems from the green prizes.
