How do you earn power ups in Fringo

You can collect them every 24 hours. On the main fringo page at the top right. Right now it's stuck on 3 days so if you come back the 4th day it still says day 3. You get 5 power-ups at day 3 and every day after that.
They said they are going to fix the days eventually.

I wish it was once a day instead of every 24 hours. i sometimes forget what time I collected and then it is late at night and I don't want to stay up late every night to collect.
