Questions about Charm Party Extravaganza

I noticed on the front page where all the games are listed that it in the what's hot section about the charm party you could win 3000 gems...how do you do this? Are you entered into the contest by just attending parties, is there a minimum of gem you have to spend? A little clarity would be nice on this, thanks.

  Sorry I didn't get this for you in time.  But just so anyone looking in future knows how this works:

  The promotion is about players creating and/or attending Charm parties for a chance to win 3,000 Gems. The more successful parties they attend/create, the higher their chance of winning. Five players are selected and featured about ten days later. For yesterday's promo, winners will be featured on May 31 via inbox message. 

  And we're discussing how to make this information clear in the game, since clearly at the moment it's basically impossible to tell how the promotion works.  Sorry about that.
