Osiris coin deductions

Each time you make a move you place a bet based on the bet size selector at the top. We'll remove those coins. Then depending on the size of the match and the number of cascades that follow it, you will win back coins.

There's no other point in the game where coins are deducted so I hope that explains what you're seeing.

There is definitely something wrong with  the scoring on Osiris.  I played 3 games with no Charms, 250,000 bet.  When I started my coins were 4,358,057,587 at the end of the first game, my coins were 4,354,274,874 at the end of the 2nd game my coins were 4,358,025,055 and at the end of the 3rd game my coins were 4,354,702,010.  That's a total loss of 3,355,577!  Worst case scenario I would have only lost 750,000 if I did not win any coins during the game.  I cleared the board in every game and won a lot of coins.  I like the game but I don't want to keep losing millions of coins on one game.

It was doing that to me!!!!  I coul really get into the game, but something didn't seem right.  I just lowered my bets....

Just to be clear in Osiris you are betting once for every move - not just once for the entire game.  And then, like most of our games, sometimes you'll win more than you bet and sometimes you'll lose.

But until you are comfortable with exactly how to play you certainly may want to consider dialing back the bet size.

Wow, I guess I'm not playing that game again!  Having to bet for every move you make is highway robbery!  Very disappointed with CW now.

It's sort of like a slot machine - lots of small bets is the idea.  But sorry if it's not the game for you Emma.

Thanks for the answers to this game.  I was also getting into playing it.  Thought I was doing great by clearing the board each time but figured out I was losing money also.  Not nice !

Dougaroo, I think this should be explained when you first play the game.  I have to disagree about this being like a slot machine, with a slot machine each spin completes the game.  In this game it takes dozens of move to complete the board.  Thank you for taking the time to answer the comments.

We do agree Emma that it should be a bit clearer about exactly how the betting works so nobody gets surprised. We'll be working on that in future releases. There currently is a screen that explains how the payouts work but it only appears the first time you play and we want to have something available all the time.

I am having the same problem with the Osiris game. After reading all comments above, I too will have to stop playing this game. It's sad, cuz it's been my favorite game lately. Even when I complete all of the challenges and flip all the tiles to gold, the Osiris game deducts several 100,000s of coins (for a 10,000 bet) or millions of coins (for a 250,000 bet). It even does this all the while it is draining down my charms ... you'd think all those yacht cruises and diamond heists and caviars would at least pump me back up to the starting point, but NOOOO!!!

It's weird how the counter on the Osiris game operates. After deducting the SINGLE bet (10,000 coins or say 250,000 coins), the counter shows your total minus that specific amount (for the bet deducted from your total # coins). Usually, my points increase as I play Osiris, by about 600,000 points, while I am initially playing the game (with a 10,000 bet .... with a 250,000 bet, usually the coin total increases by a few million coins). After this temporary increase in winnings, however, suddenly the # coins in the grand total starts to plummet. It doesn't seem to happen gradually, but rather you will immediately notice you just lost 1/2 million or 3 million coins. If I don't get a good chance win on the spin or bonus round, I end up with less coins in my grand total than I started with. I definitely agree with Emma2789 that you waste millions of coins playing just one game series.

Also, when the 1st game starts, it ALWAYS DUMPS YOU IN AT ON ONLY A 250,000 BET. There is no other choice given. Sometimes, I have watched the counter deduct 250,000 points. Then when I change the bet to the amount I wanted to use at the beginning of the game, say 10,000, it takes out the 10,000 coins right after it already took out the 250,000 coins.

Check it out ... this game cheats! This morning, I did a 10,000 bet and started that game with approx. 1.52 billion coins. During the initial game play, my total coins went up above 1.57 billion coins while the game cashed in my charms (in a previous Osiris game last night, my totals went up above 1.60B!). After completing all of the challenges and turning all tiles to gold, I had only 1.49 billion coins left, despite USING UP approx. 100 charms during a string of about 8 Osiris games!! I am so pissed. What a waste of great charms.

The craziest thing about this is there is ZERO EXPLANATION anywhere in the game rules about how these deductions occur and why. I submitted a Q to AdamC about this, but no answer. The game rules really should explain how and why coins are deducted from your grand total ... what am I doing wrong? I can't tell cuz I'm completing all the challenges laid out? Also, there's no timer, so it cannot be that I'm running out of time. So sad .... love love this game, but I'm gonna have to stop wasting millions of coins and 100s of charms just on this 1 game.

Osiris is not only an expensive game to play but you DO lose any possible coins in bonus game if/when the game crashes when you are close to the end of a round.  Doug says you do not lose upon a crash but you do if you have one or two square to go and the game freezes since you can't have the bonus advantage.  All your prior bets are not worth it if you can't reach bonus.

Yes that's a fair point Gram. If the game crashes right before the bonus game you do lose out a bit there.

And as I say we're trying to rapidly identify and fix those last remaining crashes. And we do apologize for those. We know they're annoying.

Gram8974 - I have had the same problem (losing Bonus round cause CW crashed my game) happen to me several times. And I do clear my cache (clear browsing history) before I start playing every day and if I play for a few hours, I clear my browsing history again; sometimes 3x per day for CW play! So I don't think it has anything to do with the functioning of my devices. I use both a laptop and a Chromebook for CW play, and it has happened on both.

Just a small point, but clearing your browser's cache means your computer will have to work harder while playing. In general it will make it more likely to crash, not less. So I wouldn't recommend that unless you're having a problem like the site fails to load at all for some reason.

That being said, there are still some bugs in Osiris and we are working to fix them. So most crashes in Osiris currently are just bugs - in other words it's us, not you :)

Look at this mess, just because you guys (Casino World) didn't explain how the betting is done.  Common sense to say,"Each move requires a bet".  At least I understand it now....its sort of like a Japanese Pichinko game.  We should not have to guess how a game is charged or how it pays off.

Glad it's clearer now how the game works.  And this is the message we show when you first launch the game, but it's clear we needed to show this more often as not everyone noticed and understood it.
