New timer coming to parties
Just a heads up but from tomorrow afternoon, if a party seems to be stalling with only 23 or 24 people you may see a timer appear. This will countdown and then the party will start.
If this happens, you will still get all 25 charms like normal, even though there aren't necessarily 25 people at the party.
If you don't like the idea of going to a party like this, you can leave while the timer is running, but if too many people leave the timer will also turn off. We don't want parties starting with just 15 people in them as that would be too few to get a "good party" going (too few people to buy charms and bust it or even just buy extra charms for each other).
For most parties you won't see this because normally either a party gets to 25 people fairly quickly or it comes up well short. This is just to handle those which almost get to 25 but struggle to get over the line.

Glad to hear you like it. We weren't sure if people would be happy or mad about the change so it's good to hear that at least you've been enjoying it.

Great idea Dougaroo, the is an awesome improvement. Parties, do from time to time get stuck at 22/23 people in and can't fill. This will at least give you the 25 charms you were looking for. CW has come a long way, from day one. Keep up the awesome work CW.

Hmm that sounds like a possible bug NorCal. It should start up after nobody has entered the room for about 60 seconds (and there's at least 22 people in the room). If people are still coming in and out, then it won't fire off.
If you see this again (a party with 24 people and no clock) please post when this happened and who was hosting the party (a screenshot of your whole screen will always show all this since the clock is usually visible in the corner). Then we can check to see what was going on.

This is a GREAT improvement! After attending parties and waiting and waiting while guests trickle in and out, till ALMOST full then.....patience runs out, and guests start disappearing = NO PARTY. This gives us a better chance to at least get the parties started. I attended 3 parties today that had this change. Thanks for the adjustment on the meter setting. Little things mean alot!

I agree that it's a great idea but have yet to see it work. I have been waiting for parties that have 24 people for at least 4 minutes and have yet to see a clock. How long do you have to wait before the clock comes up?

Thanks Dougaroo, I will let you know when I see it happening again.

Sounds like a good idea. What is the lowest number of people at the party to get the timer to start? 22, 23 or only when 24 people are there?
I'm sure a lot of us would like to know, so we don't waste time waiting in a party with only 20 players there. We'd rather try another party or go play games.

Today the minimum required is 22, but that might change over time.
