There's nothing formal for this, but people can just choose to go to your hotel room (if it's open to the public) before the party starts. They can do that through your profile page.

Click on the party then click on the persons name in white that takes you to there profile then click on there city  click on the visit rooms circle in the top right corner,  that will show the rooms and find the one with the purple party circle above ti  enter that room and your in the party as early as you want

Michael, I always do what you said if I want to get in early, but I usually can't get into the party room.  When I click on the balloon above the party room, a message comes up with the name of the party room and underneath it says, "Join Party".  If I click on that message nothing happens except it takes me back to the original "Party" balloon.

A couple of times when I've clicked on the party room, a message came up that said, "Enter", and then I could click on that and get in early.  So I know it can be done, I just don't understand why it only works part of the time.  That's why I thought it was something the host had to set up.

Dougaroo, could you look into this a little further?

P.S.  I've only been on CW a little over a month.

It always says enter on it when you hover above the purple party circle.  You have to click on the visit rooms in the top right first then hover on the party circle and click enter.  Some partys are friends only too and you wont be allowed in them

Michael, as I said before, I rarely get the "Enter" message when I click on the Party building or hover above it, not "always".  These are not private parties and I am able to go to them by clicking on the "Reminder" message that comes up when the parties start.

If I don't know the host, I usually go to their profile to see if they're a VIP, and to their city to see how many Party buildings they have.  If I decide to attend their party and it's almost time for it to start, I would most likely try to click on the party building then.

While I was writing this, I had a thought.  Maybe if I've already set a reminder before I decided to go early, the reminder is what's blocking me from getting in.  Sometimes I've tried to get in early if it's just a few minutes til the party starts and I don't want to get involved in another game.  The times I couldn't get in, I never paid attention to whether I already had a reminder set or not.  I never considered that might be causing my problem, so I'll have to check it out.

I got the idea the host could choose to let people in early, because a long-time player told me she hosts a party once a week and set it up so people can get in 20 minutes early.  It.s not a private party.  Maybe there was a time when the host did have to choose if people could get in early, but then CW changed it.

Yeah the host can set the party to there friends They hide the party in storage then invites who they want then when they get who they want bring the building out.   The popular party's your better off going early as they fill long before the party starts and it shouldn't matter if you put the reminder button on

Michael, do you not actually read what I write?  I specifically said these are not private parties, and they are not hidden - they are listed on the main party page, along with all the other parties, and show up in the host's city.  I also said my friend's party, where she said she set it up so you can enter 20 minutes early, is not a private party.

As far as the reminder thing, I just checked it out a little while ago.  I tried to go early to a party that I did NOT set a reminder for, but still had the same problem I've been having.  When I clicked the party balloon, the same message I've been getting came up with the party building name and "Join now", but when I clicked on it, I couldn't get in..

Maybe this could be an OS issue.  I've encountered those in other games that run on multiple platforms. Some features aren't available or don't work right or the same on all devices/OS's.  Many people play games on their phones, but I'm at home most of the time, so I'm on a Windows desktop computer.

I think I found my answers.

I discovered  if I click on "Visit Rooms" once I'm in the host's city, I can click on the Party balloon and go to  the party early.  If I don't do that, it won't let me in.

I also found out the specific details about my friend's party that she told me she sets to let people in early.  Prior to the party, she changes her settings to allow "Nobody" to visit her city.  Then 20 minutes before the party starts, she changes it to allow "Everyone" in.
