Comment pending approval

I just made a comment on a post and got a notice that my comment is pending approval can you please tell me why this is happening?

I simply shared my experience with the 3 card challenge, so my comment isn't showing in the forum pending approvel :(

  Sorry about that.  We use another company for the forum software and they have some algorithm that occasionally blocks posts and puts them into this "pending" state.  I assure you it's not something we're doing and there are no posts we're trying to censor.

  I'll see if I can find where these pending posts are and get them approved so they appear.
