    Sorry to hear that Grandma K, but we are actually working on the disconnection problem.  It's tricky since the root issue is usually the local wifi network (i.e. not at our servers end but usually in your house).  However, we have a plan that we think will help and we are actively working on it.  However the solution is complicated and will take some time for us to get out on the live site.

    If you stick around maybe we'll earn back your VIP membership.

    I find that refreshing CW every morning and a few times a day really helps with the dreaded blue screen.

    I refresh CW about every 45 seconds but still keep getting disconnected.  If it's all on my end, how come this is the only server that I get disconnected from.

    Most websites and games use a different approach to networking than we do. Ours make the games more responsive in parties and when chatting but also mean any network issues can cause you to be disconnected.

    This is the piece we hope to fix. So that short problems with the network don't show up and affect your gameplay.

    Thank you Dougaroo.  My network is solid since there is just one person using it.  I had the cable folks out here to check the signal all the way from origin to my laptop.  We even took the router off and tried ethernet.  Nothing improved the problem which the techs were able to see for themselves.   I do not keep the connection open if I'm not actively playing.  I clear my cache frequently, reboot two times a day and nothing helps.    Routine is read mail, clear cache, reboot, play on CW, leave and go to WORDLE, go to Facebook and skim it, clear cache, go to Microsoft Solitaire, play for about an hour, clear cache, run anti-virus, reboot.  Is there anything else I can do?

    I was 49K into the 50K Texas Hold'em challenge when I got disconnected! This happens too often. I don't use wi-fi, it's a desktop. You really need to fix this. How can you say it's on our end when it happens to everybody? Do we ALL have bad connections?? I don't think so!

    Sorry if it sounds like we're saying everyone has bad connections. Not trying to say that. Just that the problem here is the network (which involves many parts between you and us) will drop the connection occasionally.
    If it dropped at our end we'd lose all our players at once and that doesn't happen.
    Anyway we absolutely are working on an approach to try to reduce these problems. Hopefully there will be improvements in the next month or two.

    when im on texas holdem it freezes and takes all every day numerous times can this be fixed very discouraging for the money i give to this website i love it but not freezing constantly

    Have you re-booted your computer lately?  What do you have for an internet connection?

    Emptied cache?  They will respond, be patient.

    Might help to refresh CW before playing a game like Texas Hold'em.
