Hosting Charm Party
Why can't you allow the person that hosts the Charm Party mandatory entrance into their own party? Reserving a spot for them should be easy to do. After all, they are paying to host the party and taking the time to set it up. I have been locked out of my own party several times and it is aggravating to be left out of a great party.

We do actually try to reserve a space for the host in the party room.
When you say you are locked out of your own party - what error are you seeing and how are you trying to join the party (e.g. from the party menu, from a reminder, from your city)? If you can recall a specific time (e.g. 2pm on Friday) when this happened to you we may be able to find the details of what went wrong.

I have been 'locked out' of my own parties many times. Each and every time it was because of my own inattention. I was late arriving and kicked to overflow. I did it to myself.
Perhaps, to save me from myself, CW could maybe arrange it so that a spot for the host was reserved permanently. Or maybe I could just pay more attention?

Ah yes ok. If your "main party" has begun (everyone has actually been charged their entry fee and got their charms) then yes you can't get in any more and you'll end up in the overflow room.
We are holding a spot for you while everyone is getting organized but it's not really fair to let the host slip in quietly through the backdoor after everyone else has paid their entry fee. So we don't allow that I'm afraid.

Am thinking it could be made fair. 24 spots would be up for grabs and the 25th reserved for the host. A late arriving host would take that spot, be charged the entry fee and play on. Here, the host would not receive any purchased charms prior to arriving but in play for any charms afterwards.
Or maybe the host could just pay more attention?

Yeah that's a bit complicated to explain (to our players). I think we'll just go with the "keep a sharp eye out for your own party starting" :)

You can enter early through your city. Tap enter room icon inupper right corner and tap on roomyour party is in. You will be asked to confirm tickets or gems just b4 party starts with a screen reminder seconds b4 party actully starts. City entry is nice for crowded parties or great way to chat & make new friends. You should enter no less than 2 min. b4 party is 2 start. Try visiting friends cities to get used to it. Players have so many city layout ideas....great fun. MJ

Hey K9 thanks for clarifying what I meant when I said "locked out". That is exactly what I was talking about. Thanks for the tip MJ I will try that next time. Dougaroo, when you say it is not fair to allow someone who hosts the party to have a reserved spot I don't get it. We pay to host the party so how is it fair that your party fills so fast that you can't get in to the main party and then the overflow is not enough to even have a party??? You still have to pay for the party entry so I don't see your point.
