What is going on with Sea of Riches

the first two times this happened - i let it go, but now I'm getting ticked off.  I always purchase the gold coins to spin at 100 jewels a pop.  It's now happened a total of five times (two times today) where I purchased the gold coins for spins, only to get the silver spin wheel come up.  I'm paying 100 jewels for something that if I wanted to spin silver, would only cost me 25 gems.  Not fair.

  This is a display error. The rewards for the gold spin would have been determined on the servers and added to your account.
